Jia Yin Academy is a Vancouver-based performing arts school offering classes in singing, dancing, and musical theatre for students of all ages and skill levels. We aim to help everyone discover the joy of performing while fostering creativity, building confidence, and making learning an enjoyable experience.

We offer classes in:

• Dancing (kpop, jazz, hip hop, Broadway)
• Singing & Vocal Training (classical, pop, jazz, Disney, Broadway)
• Musical Theatre (a combination of singing, dancing & acting)

Our programs also include music video projects and stage performance opportunities, allowing students to showcase their talents and gain valuable on-stage and screen experience.

Our programs are open to kids (ages 7+) and adults of all skill levels who have a passion for the performing arts. Kids younger than 7 are welcome to join a free trial class to explore and find the instructor and classes that best suit them.

We offer trial classes for select programs. Students younger than 7 years old are welcome to take a free trial class to determine the best instructor and class for them. For other students, trial class availability and pricing may vary. Please contact us for details.

Yes! We provide one-on-one coaching and private lessons for small groups (up to 4 people) in singing and dance for students looking for personalized instruction and accelerated progress. For information on private lesson schedule & fees, please contact us directly.

Students should wear comfortable, flexible clothing that allows movement. For dance classes, sneakers or dance shoes are recommended. For singing lessons, casual but presentable attire is preferred. Please bring water to all classes to stay hydrated.

Absolutely! We offer a variety of performance opportunities, including singing and dance cover filming projects, live performances at events and festivals, as well as recitals and showcases. These experiences allow students to showcase their skills and gain valuable stage experience.
